Founders Rooted in Purpose

  • Stepheni Mendez is a strategist, creative, and community builder with 15 years of experience in tech leadership and UX/UI design. As Co-Founder of Soul & Strategy Collective, Stepheni is dedicated to supporting women and nonbinary people—especially those of the global majority and immigrant founders—to build liberatory, purpose-driven businesses rooted in ancestral wisdom, radical self-trust, and collective care.

    Her journey began in scarcity, navigating homeschooling, debt, and low-wage jobs before carving out a path in tech. After facing chronic pain and burnout, Stepheni shifted her focus to healing and began coaching leaders who, like her, were searching for ways to thrive without sacrificing their well-being. These shared experiences inspired her to co-create Soul & Strategy Collective—a nonprofit offering no-strings funding, strategic mentorship, and a deeply supportive community for regenerative founders.

     

    Stepheni leads with empathy, vision, and a commitment to anti-extractive, community-led business practices. She believes in the power of radical interdependence, love in action, and restoring what colonization tried to sever—our connection to ourselves, each other, and the earth. Through Soul & Strategy Collective, Stepheni is dedicated to making business a tool for collective flourishing, equity, and restoration.

     

    When she’s not building community, Stepheni is usually spending time with her husband and two kids, tending to her garden, or soaking up the beauty of the Colorado outdoors. She is also a leadership and mindset coach, working with women and nonbinary people to deepen their trust in their own intuition and build new habits that align with their highest good.

  • Eunice Brownlee is a speaker coach, storyteller, and strategist who helps leaders turn lived experiences into lasting impact. A trauma survivor and longtime advocate for equity, she believes women deserve access to resources that fuel their businesses. Eunice brings her expertise in storytelling, leadership, and community building to support the Soul & Strategy Collective's mission of investing in women and strengthening communities.
